Leading property consultancy Kirkby Diamond has made a key appointment in its agency team as it looks to strengthen its presence along the M1 corridor.
Industrial and logistics specialist Diccon Brearley joins the company as senior surveyor.
Diccon, a well-established name in the region with significant commercial property experience focused along the M1 corridor, will divide his time between Kirkby Diamond’s Luton and Milton Keynes offices.
The move to Kirkby Diamond means he is reunited with former colleague Luke Tillison, head of commercial agency. The two worked together at Lambert Smith Hampton’s (LSH) national industrial and logistics agency team. Diccon was with LSH for more than 11 years.
Luke said: “It’s great to have Diccon on board and we see this as a key appointment as we continue to expand our operations in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and beyond with a special focus on the growing industrial market.
“Diccon has an impressive work pedigree, excellent knowledge of the region’s commercial property sector and is incredibly well connected so we are delighted that he has joined our agency team as we continue to further our reach in the region.”
Diccon said: “Kirkby Diamond rightly has a reputation as a very ambitious property consultancy that delivers superb results for its clients. I hope my local knowledge and solid strategic experience will make a positive contribution towards the company’s strong and sustained growth.”
Diccon joins the company from Milton Keynes-based Brown & Lee LLP, where he was associate partner.
