National commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has appointed a new head of its Building Consultancy operation in Leeds.
Liam Keogh will take over from Jon Anderson, who is also head of the Leeds office and has stepped aside following the recent acquisition of ES Group to focus on amalgamating the two businesses and relocating to a new office.
The dilapidations specialist joined LSH as a graduate in 2001 and has spent his career at the company’s Leeds office, and he believes there has never been a better time to be taking on the day–to-day responsibility for the Building Consultancy department.
He said: “After a challenging recession, our Building Consultancy division has witnessed significant growth in the last couple of years, where we have seen staff numbers double and are set to exceed the targets set at the beginning of the year.
“Under Jon’s leadership, we have seen a significant increase in our project work with a growing order book and I am hoping that we can continue that upward trajectory going forward.
“The acquisition of ES Group has not only added significant depth to our Building Consultancy offer but has increased the cross-selling opportunities to a new client base and this will only increase once the businesses have co-located later this year.”
Jon added: “Building consultancy is an increasingly important strand of LSH’s business and we have significant growth aspiration for the division that we hope to support through continuing to recruit the region’s best talent.
“Liam is a very talented surveyor and with the sustained activity in the market, a growing Leeds office and the support of a powerful regional network from Liverpool to Newcastle, the outlook could not be brighter.”
