Humberts have been able to let two ground floor office suites on opposite sides of Taunton town centre. 4 Chartfield House provided a refurbished centrally located purpose built office block within the town centre with the ground floor office suite with a net internal area of 46.31 sq m (498 sq ft). The offices were self-contained with their own WC and kitchen facilities and included parking space to the rear in a gate secure car park. The suite was available at a rent of £4,950 per annum.
Humberts have also agreed the letting of another ground floor office suite a 4 Middle Street in Taunton town centre which was available at £4,000 per annum and had private kitchenette but shared WC facilities. The suite had two rooms and was let as soon as it was brought to the market.
Stephen Richards who heads up the Commercial department for Humberts comments “we are pleased that we have been able to agree lettings on both of these office suites which is a sign of an improving office market within Taunton. We have recently seen an increase in demand for space of this type within the town centre and out of town office space which is music to the landlord’s ears as this market has been depressed over the recession”.
