M&G Real Estate has completed a string of lettings on six floors of Building 1 Minster Court, in the City of London since early August.
Deals have been completed on floors six to nine with ProSight Speciality Underwriters Ltd, The National House Building Council, IPES (UK) Limited, The International Underwriting Association and Acord.
An early surrender deal with CoFunds has enabled solicitors DAC Beachcroft to satisfy their 20,000 sq ft requirement on the first and second floors. Only the refurbished 5th floor remains available.
The Minster Court complex has seen flurry of activity throughout 2015. Broker Price Forbes increased their floor space to 42,000 sq ft in Building 2 in June permitting existing occupier Endurance Worldwide Insurance to surrender their 12,000 sq ft and increase their presence in the building by leasing the 22,500 sq ft on the first floor. Refurbished floors of between 11,000 and 20,000 sq ft will be available in 2016 in the 200,000 sq ft building.
Giles Difford, Asset Management Director at M&G Real Estate says: “Located in the heart of the EC3 market, the distinctive Minster Court complex continues to remain attractive to the insurance sector. As one of the first EC3 developments of significant scale, M&G Real Estate is committed to maintaining Minster Court’s status as a building of choice for insurers, brokers and other occupiers who benefit from proximity to Lloyds of London.”
CBRE and Spring4 are the joint letting agents.
