St. Modwen’s Great Western Business Park in Worcester has signed up another national tenant in the form of Benchmarx Kitchens & Joinery, part of the Travis Perkins Group.
By taking a 5,300 sq ft unit, Benchmarx will be joining its parent company at the business park as Travis Perkins plc recently revealed plans to acquire a 13,600 sq ft unit there. Now just five units remain ranging from 3,500 sq ft to 5,300 sq ft.
Located just off Tolladine Way, less than a mile from Worcester City Centre and close to Junctions 6 and 7 of the M5, Great Western Business Park has proven to be extremely popular with a mix of industrial and distribution tenants.
To tap into the growing demand for high quality units in the region, St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist, has recently submitted a planning application for a third phase of development at the park, totalling 64,000 sq ft.
Jonathan Green, development surveyor at St. Modwen, said: “Following the letting to Travis Perkins plc, Benchmarx has chosen to take space at Great Western Business Park. It is a well-designed, secure and high quality facility, and the fact that Travis Perkins plc and Benchmarx have given it their seal of approval by taking space here is a real endorsement for what we are trying to achieve.
“Great Western Business Park appeals to light industrial, storage and distribution tenants and, following our completion of a purpose built facility for Hereford & Worcester Fire Authority in May, we have received a number of enquiries for space. We have now submitted a planning application for a final phase of development that consists of eleven speculative units, ranging from 3,500 to 32,000 sq ft.”
Also based at Great Western Business Park are car parts and accessories distributor Euro Car Parts, additive manufacturers Materials Solutions, vehicle and wearable technology distributor Nemesis GB, automotive parts distributor Andrew Page, self-storage company Storage King and Altaras International, providers of precision components.
