Poundland, Europe’s biggest single price discount retailer, has announced plans to open a new store at The Crescent in Hinckley.
With over 600 stores nationwide, Poundland offers amazing everyday value with thousands of items at just £1 each.
Creating numerous jobs for the local area, the store is due to open within the next six months and will provide over 3,500 products.
A huge variety of the nation’s favourite brands will also be stocked including Cadbury’s, Heinz and Coca-Cola as well as everything from household essentials to health & beauty buys and a number of exclusive and seasonal ranges.
Offering amazing value on top branded items to over 5.5 million customers every week, the new Poundland store will be the first in the area, with the closest store over four miles away in Nuneaton.
Poundland’s Retail Director, Tim McDonnell, says: “Poundland has grown significantly over the past 12 months and it’s fantastic to see this expansion continuing with another store in Hinckley. We’re looking forward to opening our doors!”
The Tin Hat Partnership, the developers of The Crescent, have welcomed Poundland as an exciting addition to the development, alongside Sainsbury’s, Cineworld, TK Maxx and Simply Gym.
