Ken Bishop, one of Manchester’s best known property consultants, is to join JLL’s North West team.
Bishop, who has over three decades of experience, is widely regarded as one of the leading specialists in the region’s office market. He will be part of JLL’s senior North West leadership team and will work alongside the firm’s investment, agency and development teams to provide advice on a wide range of opportunities.
During his extensive career, more latterly as a Senior Director in DTZ/Cushman & Wakefield’s Office Agency and Development team, he has been responsible for some of the largest developments and office transactions in Manchester and the North West including over one million sq ft of pre-lettings and speculative development at Spinningfields. He is currently advising on a number of speculative schemes under construction including Two St. Peter’s Square; One New Bailey and 101 Embankment totalling 450,000 sq ft with a further 600,000 sq ft at the design stage.

Last year, JLL’s North West team was involved in circa £750 million of investment deals and earlier this year advised Legal & General on its acquisition of 50% interest in MediaCityUK, Salford Quays. The firm’s Development team is advising on schemes with a total Gross Development Value of over £3 billion across the North West including the redevelopment of the former ITV site in Manchester.
