Model turned successful entrepreneur Caprice Bourret launched ten new business units at Shrewsbury’s premier trade park.
Morris Properties welcomed the special guest to its Plot 19 development at Vanguard to share her experiences of starting and growing a business.
Caprice talked about the challenges she has faced and the driving forces behind her success to an invited audience of around 60 at the business breakfast event.
Guests asked Caprice questions about setting up a business and were given an exclusive tour of the development which offers units from 1,960sq ft to 16,910sq ft and were treated to a complimentary breakfast box sourced from local suppliers.
Liz Lowe, Head of Estates at Morris Properties, said: “This new phase at Vanguard offers great business opportunities in a prime location. We wanted the high profile site to be launched in style by someone who understands how important it is for businesses to ensure that they have the right platform for them to succeed in the future.”
Caprice said: “It was a great experience to be involved in the launch of Plot 19 at Vanguard and to meet with local business people and representatives from Morris Properties, a family owned, fifth generation business.
“I have learned a lot during my business journey and indeed continue to learn and I enjoy sharing that knowledge and advice with people who are keen to develop their business too.”
Liz Lowe added: “We have been strategic in the design and size of the units on offer to ensure we maximise the opportunity for our tenants and owner occupiers alike.”
Vanguard Park was established in 2008 by Morris Properties, and Towler Shaw Roberts are the agents who have been involved in the development since conception. The development attracts local and national brands, from trade counters to car dealerships, giving businesses the opportunity to buy their own property if they wish. The size and pricing structure of the units has been designed to reflect the local market’s aspirations.
