One of the South West’s fastest growing businesses has made a high-profile senior appointment.
Keynsham based Almeda has brought in Ben Arbery, 42, who joins the family business as Associate Director.
He will work alongside Brady George, who recently took over from his father Gary as Managing Director.
Ben spent fifteen years working within the financial services industry, intitially as a financial adviser and mortgage broker and latterly as a financial services assessor. He worked for a host of companies including John Charcol and the Cooperative.
In his new role Ben will be responsible for working with existing clients, developing new business and helping the senior team to take advantage of new commercial opportunities.
Despite only being a couple of weeks into the job Ben has already been impressed by Almeda’s influence in the city.
He comments: “In my first week I met with the team at the Arnolfini, a building that Almeda manage, and I was so energised about the positive things they had to say about us and the difference we are making.”
Ben also says it was Almeda’s burgeoning reputation as a pioneering business that influenced him to join.

Brady, MD at Almeda, says that together with his management team, he spent months talking to Ben about taking on the role.
He comments: “Myself and Gary knew Ben previously and thought he would be ideal for the role of Associate Director and fully aligned to the Almeda mission. He adds a wealth of experience and will prove to be a senior appointment that makes a huge difference to the business.”
As a total facilities management provider, Almeda count @Bristol, Arnolfini, Bristol & Bath Science Park, SS Great Britain and many more as clients. – and currently turnover just shy of £6 million.
