The development of the new Grade A office building at 80 Fenchurch Street, EC3, has commenced, with the demolition of the current vacant building underway.
The demolition will take circa six months, with a projected practical completion date of Q1 2018, in a joint venture by Partners Group and developers Marick Real Estate. The 245,000 sq ft office building will be 14 storeys high, with detailed interior design by TP Bennett Architects, including an impressive atrium which will provide natural light throughout. However, this unique building importantly will be the only City property under construction to boast five large high level landscaped terrace roof gardens, providing panoramic views of the cityscape.
The building is located on the eastern end of Fenchurch Street, between the City and Aldgate, and will suit a range of occupiers from financial and legal to media tenants, on a single or multi-let occupancy.
