Weight Watchers has renewed its tenancy with Sorbon Estates for its Millennium House headquarters in Maidenhead for a further ten years.
The 14,000 sq ft building, which has been home to the company since 2000, has a prominent position on Ludlow Road, moments from Maidenhead train and future Crossrail station.
Jeanine Lemmens, general manager, Weight Watchers UK, comments: “Maidenhead has been a successful location for Weight Watchers UK for more than 25 years and with the Crossrail and town centre rejuvenation, it is clear that Maidenhead has a bright future as a centre for business, commerce and culture. We look forward to another 10 great years at Millennium House.”
Tamra Booth, managing director of Sorbon Estates, adds: “We are delighted to have Weight Watchers staying in Maidenhead and contributing to the town’s thriving economy. The company already provides jobs for Thames Valley locals and is key for attracting other large businesses to the town. Alongside the work that we’re doing with the council to regenerate the town centre, our vision is for Maidenhead to reach its full potential by becoming a commercial hub as well as a great place to live.”
