Cheltenham-based professional services firm Knights has recruited an expert in restructuring and insolvency with over 11 years’ experience to its growing team.
Stephen Young joins the firm as a partner and will be responsible for building and developing the insolvency offering at Knights.
He brings with him a wealth of experience in dealing with corporate and personal insolvency issues, including litigious and transactional matters. Stephen acts for insolvency officeholders, as well as others affected by insolvency, including businesses facing financial difficulty, directors, lenders and creditors.
“I’ve worked on some very interesting assignments over the years which have resulted in assets being recovered for creditors, or assisting businesses faced with the prospect of insolvency,” said Stephen.
Some of my work has had a cross-border element and I have experience in securing and recovering assets from outside the UK, such as Spain, Switzerland, Bulgaria, South Africa and the USA. Now I’m delighted to be joining the growing team at Knights.”

Stephen qualified in 2004 and will be based at the Knights’ Cheltenham office.
