A South West facilities management firm has made a raft of senior promotions, following strong growth.
Based in Keynsham, Almeda works with commercial landlords and property owners in the South West of England and South Wales to deliver total facilities management and maintenance services.
The family run business has recently promoted Graham Bush to Senior Facilities Manager, Richard Frost to Commercial and Compliance Manager and Chris Cox to Facilities Manager.
All three appointments are highly experienced in the FM industry and well versed in the company’s vision of creating profits to invest in people and the planet.
Richard has worked at Almeda for three years and Graham and Chris both for two years.
Graham Bush comments: “Almeda is on a mission and I’m delighted to be on board and helping to shape it. We want to grow and grow so we can make more positive change for our customers and community. The stronger we become the more positive change we can make.”
Richard Frost comments: “The business is going great guns and I am personally delighted with my new role.”
Chris Cox comments: “It’s been a rollercoaster ride navigating a recession and many industry and internal changes. But we’re stronger for it and as a group determined to keep delivering world class service to our customers.”
The restructure and strengthening of Almeda’s management team is part of the firm’s five year business plan, with goals to significantly expand the business and its operations into new sectors over this time period.
Almeda has also implemented a £50,000 training budget to deliver world class training to all of its staff. This includes all of Almeda’s management team being enrolled at Cranfield University’s Management Development Centre.
Brady George, who recently took over from his father Gary as Managing Director at Almeda, comments: “It’s important for all staff to understand and live the company’s core values. I’m proud to be surrounded by a passionate team who are progressive, dynamic and hell-bent on delivering something phenomenal to our clients.”
Formed in 2007, Almeda has steadily grown over the last 8 years, with a current turnover just shy of £6m. The company employs 50 people and counts @Bristol, Arnolfini, Bristol & Bath Science Park, SS Great Britain and many more as clients.
