Businesses in Swansea Bay have indicated a sanguine attitude for profitability in the next quarter, according to the latest results of Swansea Bay Business Club’s Business Barometer.
An impressive 77 per cent of respondents who took part in the recent survey indicated that they were confident that their business’ profitability would increase over the next three months. In addition, half the businesses that responded to the survey felt their business has performed somewhat stronger, compared to the previous three months, demonstrating a rise in confidence across the region.
President of Swansea Bay Business Club, Bruce Roberts, said that it was encouraging to hear local businesses continuing to talk of the future with positivity: “Swansea Bay Business Club is pleased to see that so many businesses remain optimistic and expect their profitability to increase as we approach autumn.
