Sheffield based BLE Lighting & Power is celebrating the installation of its emergency lighting products at the home of Hampshire Cricket Club, the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.
The emergency lighting specialist has supplied all the illuminated exit signage for a project that started in January 2014 and has been completed in June this year in time for the Ageas Bowl to host a one-day international between England and Australia in September.
BLE Lighting & Power was chosen to supply all emergency lighting by their existing client, Blackpool based PEI Delta Ltd. The electrical installation specialists has had a direct account with BLE for 15 years and both firms have already worked together on projects for Costa Coffee, Premier Inn & several shops within major shopping centres such as Karen Millen and Michael Kors.
Managing director at BLE Lighting & Power, Richard Woodley, said: “We are delighted to announce that the project at the Ageas Bowl is finished and has been another successful contract with PEI Delta Ltd. It is always complimentary to be chosen based on previous recommendations as it really is testament to the high quality of service and product that we offer at BLE Lighting & Power.“
BLE Lighting & Power supplied a wide range of products including emergency bulkheads, energy efficient light bulbs and emergency exits signs.
Mr Woodley added: “This was an exciting project and it continued our successful account with PEI Delta Ltd, I look forward to working with them on more projects in the future. We have helped to light up the Ageas Bowl, now the rest is in England cricket team’s hands to see if they can do the same in September.“
