Leading national commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) is continuing its investment in young talent by bolstering its capital markets team in the Midlands with the arrival of Ankur Chadha.
The 28-year-old senior surveyor will join Adam Ramshaw, head of Birmingham office and director of capital markets, and Matt Jenns in the three-strong team.
His new role will see him focus on the buoyant investment market in Leicester, Nottingham and across the East Midlands.
The City University graduate, from Sutton Coldfield, joined LSH three years ago and has worked alongside office agency director Alex Tross covering the West Midlands region. He was recently involved in a deal which saw AECOM acquire 10,000 sq ft of office space at Victoria Square in the city centre.
The growth of the capital markets team comes during a period of significant expansion for LSH, which earlier this year acquired ES Group and retail specialists Tushingham Moore.
Ankur said: “The past three years at LSH have been fantastic and I’ve learned so much. Joining the capital markets team offers me an exciting opportunity with a special focus on the East Midlands region, an area that is experiencing a lot of investment activity.
“By focusing on Leicester and Nottingham, and providing a capital markets function in our offices in both cities, we will be able to take advantage of the increased demand and high levels of activity right across the East Midlands.”
Adam Ramshaw said: “I am delighted to welcome Ankur to the capital markets team where I know he will be a huge asset. We have expanded the team and broadened our scope to cover the entire West Midlands and East Midlands regions which clearly demonstrates our desire and commitment to providing the very best service levels for investors. We have a unique footprint of offices in the region and I know Ankur will ensure we take full advantage of this.”
