A motor dealership – with branches in Stratford-upon-Avon, Banbury and Evesham – is looking to drive business growth after being bought out by Vauxhall Motors.
Bridge, which was established in the 1980s, was bought by the UK car manufacturer earlier this year and chairman and chief executive of the company, Tim Tozer, paid a visit to the Stratford dealership on Birmingham Road.
Tim met management and staff as well as representatives from the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, which will be working with the company to help raise its profile among the business community.
Ian Govier, the dealership principal, said: “It was great to welcome Tim here and for staff to meet him.
“Vauxhall’s investment in Bridge is a great boost to the business and will mean we can drive forward with our plans to increase sales and grow the company.
“We will also be working with the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce because we feel its network will bring great benefits to the business.”
Louise Wall, group commercial director at the Chamber; Julie De Thierry, membership and business adviser at the Chamber; and Larry Coltman, the chair of the Chamber’s South Warwickshire branch all visited the company, which employs 75 people across the area.
Louise said: “We are very pleased to welcome Bridge into Chamber membership, especially on the back of such positive news.
“The company has great potential to grow sales over the coming weeks, months and years and our team will work with them to see how they can make the most of the Chamber’s services to assist that growth.”
