Humberts have recently agreed the letting of Unit 3C, Millwey Rise Industrial Estate along with Unit 5B which is hopefully a sign of an improving market. Unit 3C was a mid-terrace industrial unit with a Gross Internal Area of 87.57 sq m (942 sq ft) with parking for two vehicles to front. The industrial unit was available at a rent of £5,500 per annum plus VAT. Unit 5B has also been let recently within a couple of weeks. The unit was smaller and had a Gross Internal Area of 45.16 sq m (486 sq ft) and was also mid-terrace with allocated parking for two vehicles to the front and was available at a rent of £3,500 per annum plus VAT.
Stephen Richards, who heads up the Commercial department for Humberts, comments “we are pleased that we have been able to let the two industrial units quickly and there seems to be an increase in demand for small industrial space at this time. Millwey Rise Industrial Estate is in a good location and is an established industrial estate close to Axminster town centre which is popular with occupiers”.
