Louisa Brooks is bringing a track record of achieving business growth when she joins commercial property consultant Vail Williams at its Gatwick Regional office.
Louisa is coming on board from her previous role as partner at Allsop where she led the significant growth of the insolvency team from two in 2004 to 18 surveyors plus support staff in 2013.
She is a Fixed Charge Receiver with extensive involvement in both the asset management and sale of properties. Appointments have been from property lending institutions ranging from banks and building societies to niche lenders, as well as administrators.
Her wide experience includes shopping centres, office investments, development sites, industrial units and residential buildings. Among her clients have been RBS/NatWest, NAB (former Clydesdale Bank), Newcastle Building Society and Handlesbanken.
One of Louisa’s successes was as receiver of the Dolphin Quays retail / restaurant development in Poole, Dorset. She oversaw letting of units and acted in an asset management capacity for lease renewals, signing-off service charge budgets, procuring planning advice on redevelopment, and ensuring tenants were competently managed.
Peter Sudworth, Vail Williams Partner, said: “Louisa’s experience, qualifications and contacts make her an incredibly strong appointment. She brings valuable new insight for clients at our Gatwick regional office and also our wider national service.
“As the UK economy continues to recover and businesses look to grow, being able to offer this kind of senior advice for clients is going to give them that commercial edge they need. We’ve got a strong team that just got even stronger.”
