M&G Real Estate, owner of Cwmbran Shopping, has secured two new tenants and three new leases for the Welsh new town.
International jeweller Pandora has signed to take a 1,250 sq ft unit on a ten-year lease at the heart of the scheme. Since 1982, Pandora has grown to become one of the world’s best-known jewellers, now operating in 90 countries and six continents. Foreign exchange company, Eurochange will also occupy a new 290 sq ft shop in Cwmbran on a ten year lease.
Aside from Pandora and Eurochange, Game, Vodafone and O2 have all signed new five year leases. Game will amalgamate its operations into one large 3,469 sq ft store located at 24 The Mall, Vodafone and O2 have signed to remain at 5 South Walk and 26 South Walk respectively.
The news demonstrates Cwmbran’s appeal to international and national brands looking to capitalise on increasing consumer spend in the South Wales area, as well as the town’s ability to compete with other shopping hubs in the region.
