EJ Hales has announced it has secured a hat-trick of new retail properties to market on behalf of Fairacre.
The Cardiff-based commercial agent is sourcing new tenants for the Market Place Shopping Centre in Blackwood, the Riverside Quay Shopping Centre in Haverfordwest and Westgate Building in Newport.
EJ Hales won the contracts in a competitive pitch after demonstrating its experience and expertise in the retail and leisure market in Wales.
A range of units are available across all three sites. In Blackwood, there are units available from 350 sq ft to 2,300 sq ft with the option of long and short term leases.
In Haverfordwest, one permanent unit remains as the commercial agent has already agreed a ten year lease with Brighthouse, which opened in August.
In Newport, two units are under offer to amalgamated to create 6,000 sq ft plus first floor storage.
An independent marketing strategy has been applied to each property, due to the diversities, alongside a plan of future development by Fairacre.
EJ Hales has built an enviable reputation within the leisure and retail commercial property marketplace. In the last year the company has advised on a number of high profile deals spanning the breadth of the country for clients including Tesco, Specsavers, Argos, Next and Subway.
Matthew Morgan, partner at EJ Hales, said: “We were delighted to be have been chosen as the only Welsh agent to act on all three properties. Each site is very different, and has required a unique strategy, but they all have strong locations with good footfall, making them the ideal place for any retail or leisure company.
“Fairacre is utilising the marketplace and has acquired these strong assets at a strategic time. Following our initial marketing campaign, we have already received strong tenant interest. We are also looking at ways to enhance the centres’ offering.
