A top crafts and hobby company is moving into a brand new strategically-placed enterprise zone at one of Somerset premier business parks.
Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has successfully negotiated the sale of Unit L4 on the New Enterprise Zone at Commerce Park, Frome, to HixxySoft on an asking price of £160,000.
Rachael Ward, a senior surveyor at Myddelton & Major, said: “Commerce Park has already been dubbed the region’s premier business park – and it’s not hard to see why with the quality of tenants there.
“HixxySoft, trading in the area since 2003 and famed for crafts, die cutting, cross stitch kits, jigsaws and embossing folders, will be joining the likes of Premier Inn, Fed Ex, skincare specialists Primavera, beauty products firm Acheson & Acheson and homewear firm Cox & Cox.
“This is a booming business park and we are pleased to have been able to play a role in its establishment. Commerce Park is sure to grow and demand will remain strong.”
Commerce Park is located on the Somerset/Wiltshire border midway between the M4, M5 and A303 corridors and so has excellent road and rail links.
It is just two miles south of the junction of the A36 and A361 (Frome Bypass), 14 miles south of Bath and 13 miles from the A303.
Myddelton & Major was named the most active agency in Wiltshire in 2014 for the third year running by Estates Gazette, the weekly and online ‘magazine’ of the UK commercial property industry.
