IM Properties has completed the letting of all units at its Longwell Green trade counter scheme near Bristol.
The final two units on the park, the 2,930 sq ft Unit 3 and the 2,960 sq ft Unit 4, have been let to City Electrical Factors (CEF) and health and safety equipment supplier Arco, respectively.
Both lettings have been secured on 10 year leases, with the quoting rent for the site of £12 per sq ft achieved on one of the units.
IM Properties completed seven speculatively developed units ranging from 2,920 sq ft to 14,350 sq ft on the site in 2012. Since then, Longwell Green has proven to be a strong trade counter location, attracting a range of national occupiers including Halfords Autocentres, Toolstation, Screwfix and Formula One Autocentres.
Lewis Payne, IM Properties, said: “Longwell Green is a great demonstration of our strategy to create long-let, sound investment sites in thriving locations through our development programme. To have completed the letting of all seven units at Longwell Green to national operators speaks volumes about the popularity of this location in the capital of the southwest.”
Longwell Green is boosted by its position just off the A4147 Avon Ring Road and only 20 minutes from Bristol city centre, alongside excellent connections to the national motorway network via Junction 1 of the M32 and Junction 19 of the M4.
The trade park scheme benefits from its proximity to a strong retail location offering a range of amenities with occupiers including Homebase, B&Q, Marks & Spencer, Next, and Boots.
CEF was represented by Checkley & Co Surveyors in the completion of its letting. IM Properties was represented by JLL in Bristol and Cushman & Wakefield in London.
