A Leicester property professional is set to traverse the Alps on his bike this September to help raise £100,000 for charity.
Sam Sutton, director at Midlands commercial property specialist Phillips Sutton, will be riding from Geneva in Switzerland, to Milan in Italy, (along with 70 other cyclists) for Hope Against Cancer, a Leicestershire-based Cancer Research charity.
Says Sam: “The route will see us ride 360 miles over 4 days, climbing over 17,000 feet over the Alps including the the infamous San Gottardo Pass.
“This is a huge challenge for all involved and I am looking forward to pushing myself to the limit to get to Milan!
“Hope Against Cancer is a fantastic cause and raises money to fund cancer research in Leicestershire and Rutland. They have already raised over £3m to fund 31 different research projects. Our aim for this challenge is to raise £100,000.”
