Cardiff-based personal injury law firm, Mooneerams Solicitors, has strengthened its team with the addition of newly qualified solicitor, Siwan Edwards.
Following her recent qualification, Ms Edwards, who lives in Cardiff, will be responsible for dealing with clients who have been involved in road traffic incidents.
Ms Edwards, who is a fluent Welsh speaker, studied law for three years at Cardiff University before completing a one year legal practice course and joining Mooneerams Solicitors as a paralegal in 2009. During this time, she has continued to study and complete a professional skills course in order to qualify as a solicitor.
As a member of the Ladies Business Alliance, Ms Edwards meets with local business women in the Rhondda Cynon Taf once a fortnight to discuss business issues and forge relationships with other local companies.
Speaking about her qualification, Ms Edwards says: “Over the past two and a half years at Mooneerams I have got to know the team and have built strong relationships with a number of clients.
“Mooneerams is a really great place to work – its friendly and approachable team makes it a pleasure to come to work each day and is also the reason why the firm is able to operate successfully on recommendations, rather than the need to pay for referrals leads.
“I’m delighted that all my hard work over the past six years has paid off and I’m looking forward to strengthening the firm’s Road Traffic Accident department, as well as working to expand their Welsh speaking client base.”
