A new kitchen, bedroom and bathroom retailer has opened its first showroom in Leicestershire.
Green Stone specialises in the design, supply and installation of high-quality kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms.
The company was set-up 14 months ago by business partners Jon Lewis and James Gooding, who started by supplying kitchens to local new build developers before deciding to expand into the retail market.
Green Stone’s new showroom has opened at Unit A Britannia Buildings in Coventry Road, Burbage, Hinckley to provide an extensive range of kitchen, bedroom and bathroom design options to suit every style of home.
Jon and James were assisted in their move to the new 2,745 sq ft premises by commercial property agent Reeves & Partners, who also manage the building.
Jon said: “When we first established the company we started by trading direct to the new build market. This was going really well so, four months ago, we decided to expand the company and tap into the retail market.
“I live locally and saw that the unit at Britannia Buildings was available to let. After arranging a viewing with Reeves & Partners, James and I immediately saw its potential.
“It is the perfect size and location and we liked its diversity with space to create a showroom downstairs and have office space upstairs. It has everything we need.
“Since Reeves & Partners handed over the keys we have completely transformed the property by putting in a brand new flooring, completing retiling the premises, fitting new lights and electrics and creating the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom showcases.
“We are really pleased with the finished product and we held an official opening which was attended by dozens of local people and businesses. We have also received numerous enquiries off the back of the opening which is fantastic.
“Over the next few months we will be looking to recruit more designers and fitters and as the business continues to grow, we will hopefully be able to open additional showrooms in Leamington and Warwickshire.”
