Property consultants Alder King have successfully disposed of three long leasehold units on Shrivenham Hundred Business Park so far this year, and have two other units under offer on the popular business park.
The most recent disposal was of Units 68/69 which were sold to Comec Voice & Data Ltd, the Avaya Enterprise telephone system reseller. Acting on behalf of private clients, Alder King sold the long leasehold interest in the 4,714 sq ft property off a quoting price of £330,000.
The units had previously been combined together to provide ground floor workshop accommodation with offices at first floor level. It is understood that Comec will be relocating from its current base near Wantage and will be substantially refurbishing the building to provide a new headquarters for its expanding business.
Martin Baker of Alder King’s Swindon office commented: “Shrivenham Hundred Business Park is home to a small but growing cluster of high-tech and IT-related companies. The Park has enjoyed a very successful start to 2015, with at least eight units having changed hands or under offer, and the arrival of Comec adds to its reputation as a modern, well-connected business location.”
