The 41,000 sq ft Chineham Court office campus, comprising Grove House, Jameson House and The Manor House has been sold by clients of Cordea Savills to private Investors. Grove House and The Manor House will continue to be run as a serviced office business and Jameson House is occupied by FB Heliservices.
Beryl Huntingdon of Absolutely Offices who has been leasing Grove House for over 10 years says “I am looking forward to working with the new Landlords”. The price agreed is not being revealed, but is understood to be in the order of £5,000,000.
Andrew Newman of Hollis Hockley acting for the vendors said “This transaction is another example of the purchaser benefitting from challenging market conditions, and be able to secure a purchase on terms that are attractive. Our clients however retain ownership of Vertex, Chineham Court, where 35,000 sq ft remains available on a freehold or leasehold basis”.
Jim London of London Clancy, who acted for the Purchasers said “This office investment acquisition illustrates that there is a market for the right type of product, in the right location.”
