Computer training opportunities are expanding in Birmingham thanks to a deal brokered by UK commercial property experts at Vail Williams to bring in a new education facility in the city centre.
The new operation is set to take up the entire fourth floor of Quayside Tower, Broad Street, covering 6,318 square feet of space on a 10-year agreement with a five-year break clause.
The training service is being brought to Birmingham by highly-respected further education college Highbury, based in Portsmouth, through its subsidiary, New Horizons Ltd, which already runs a number of other branches around the country.
The business is a UK offshoot of the well-established New Horizons Learning Centers, the largest independently-owned training company in the world with over 300 locations in 70 countries.
New Horizons Ltd tasked Vail Williams to find premises of between 5,000 and 6,000 square feet in the city centre – a challenge which was successfully met by its Birmingham team of property experts.
The Quayside Tower agreement is the latest boost for Birmingham brought by a recent hat-trick of major property deals brokered by Vail Williams, totaling nearly 40,000 square feet of office and industrial space.
Carole Taylor, Vail Williams Partner in the company’s Birmingham office, said: “This latest deal, at Quayside Tower, brings greater training opportunities into the heart of Birmingham, which is good news both for businesses and individuals.
“We were challenged by New Horizons Ltd to deliver a very specific type of property for their plans. Our team’s market insight and depth of expertise meant we quickly secured the right premises to suit their business needs.”
