Humberts have recently let two industrial sites in Somerset.
Humberts have agreed the letting of a 1 acre site located just off The Drove in central Bridgwater. The site was available at £1 per sq ft and has been let to Marshalls plc.
Currently Humberts are marketing the remainder of the site, being 1⁄2 acre (2,050 sq m/22,058 sq ft) at a rent of £25,000 per annum. The yard faces onto The Drove and has planning permission for its own dedicated access from The Drove.
Stephen Richards a Director of Humberts comments “we have already received interest in the site due to its prominent location opposite the Peugeot garage from car sales occupiers and utilities can readily be made available to a potential tenant”.
Humberts have also agreed the letting of Unit 9E Ilton Business Park, Ilton, near Ilminster on behalf of their clients. The scalped yard had an area of 322.56 sq m (3,470 sq ft) and included two cargo containers and a cabin office. On site there were ladies and gents WC facilities.
Stephen Richards, Head of Commercial, comments “we have received an increase in demand across all commercial sectors over the last couple of months especially in the industrial sector like the yard mentioned. Currently we have Unit 20 available at Ilton Business Park which has just been brought to the market and we expect to receive strong interest for this small industrial unit”.
