Thomas Sabo, advised by retail property agent Harper Dennis Hobbs (HDH), has made three new store acquisitions as part of its UK-wide expansion strategy.
The three new stand-alone stores are in Watford, Newcastle and Leicester and follow the successful launch of the company’s flagship on South Molton Street last year. This is part of a global roll out for the jewellery brand, which was established in 1984.
Thomas Sabo has signed 10 year leases on an 860 sq ft store at the intu Centre Watford, and 1,000 sq ft stores in Leicester’s Highcross Shopping Centre and Newcastle’s intu Eldon Square. The Watford store has recently opened while the other two will open later this year.
Hannah Mahoney, Associate Director at HDH said: “Following the successful launch of the flagship on South Molton Street last year, Thomas Sabo continues to expand nationwide. We are looking at top quality locations to further their presence, and compliment the brands unique DNA.”
Thomas Sabo has 156 stand-alone shops and 119 shop-in-shops across the globe and will now have three more in the UK. The company plans a further 20 stores within the next 3-4 years.
