National commercial property consultancy, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), has let the third floor of 8 St Andrew’s Place in Cardiff city centre to Acorn Property Group taking the four storey property to full occupancy.
Acting on behalf of the landlord Charnwood Property Group, LSH negotiated a lease on 684 sq ft for a term of three years at the contemporary new build property located in the city’s prime professional district.
Acorn, a property developer specialising in bespoke residential and commercial developments, has this month (June) moved into its new base and, says its regional MD, James Groombridge, it’s the ideal space to accommodate continued expansion.
“We set up the Cardiff office in 2014 as part of Acorn Property Group’s regional expansion plans,” explains Groombridge. “With rapid growth we quickly found we needed office accommodation that not only provided room for more people but was also of a standard that reflects the high specification of the environments we create.”
Adds Kate Simpson, Head of LSH’s office agency team: “Since St Andrew’s Place was built in 2011 it has quickly become a popular hub for those businesses looking to capitalise on a great strategic business location in a smart working environment complete with roof terrace boasting panoramic city views.”
Other tenants currently occupying St Andrew’s Place include Alun Jones Family Law, Blackfoods LLP, Phil Williams PWG and eatery Coffee a gogo.
Charnwood Group is one of South Wales’ leading and long-standing property investment, development and construction companies, creating refurbished and new build mixed use schemes for the residential and commercial sectors.
