Warehouse premises valued at nearly £4.5m have been sold in the biggest deals in South Wiltshire for a decade at a business park near Salisbury.
Acting on behalf of M Seven Real Estate, joint agents Myddelton & Major and Warwick Martel successfully negotiated the sale of two units – with a combined space of nearly 75,000 sq ft – to a world renowned pet toy manufacturer at High Post Business Park and a third unit at the complex measuring 24,000 sq ft to an international events company.
With the sale also agreed on another unit of 25,000 sq ft, it means that there are just two units remaining at the newly refurbished park on the A345 just north of Salisbury as demand rises rapidly for quality commercial space.
Dean Speer, a partner at Myddelton & Major, said: “It is encouraging to see businesses of this stature come to Salisbury.
“These sales are the most significant commercial property deals in South Wiltshire for a decade and are superb news for the local economy.
“We are pleased to have played our part in the sales at High Post as Salisbury becomes an increasingly attractive proposition for businesses of all sizes.”
Dean added: “The sales underline the strategic value of high quality second-hand warehousing space in the market today.
“Such opportunities have become increasingly rare in Southern England as second hand stock rapidly disappears so there’s no time to delay acquiring the remaining space at such locations as High Post Business Park.”
Myddelton & Major and Warwick Martel are joint agents at High Post.
The two units still available measure 25,000 sq ft and 50,000 sq ft.
