Leading international environmental consultancy, CertiNergy, has taken up residence at Longbridge Technology Park.
The company, which has its roots in France, has been operating in the UK for two years from a Birmingham base, offering customers advice on how to save money on their energy bills and access to government backed energy saving programs and initiatives.
CertiNergy is now moving into a flexible 1,334 sq ft office at Two Devon Way, joining tenants such as Co-operative Web, Vecoplan, Concurrent Thinking and Bytesnap Design.
James Teal, Innovation Centre Manager at Longbridge Technology Park, said: “CertiNergy makes a great addition to our tenant line-up at Two Devon Way, which is really starting to make a name for itself within our Technology Park. The neighbouring Innovation Centre is now 96 per cent let and Two Devon Way offers the same, highly efficient and flexible office spaces, at a larger volume and with a BREEAM Very Good rating. As many of our tenants grow and expand, it offers them the next step up.
“CertiNergy is at the forefront of its industry, at a time when British consumers are more concerned than ever about their energy costs and monthly bills. They have already significantly grown since establishing in the UK and our set-up at Longbridge Technology Park will facilitate that growth still further.”
Launched in the UK in 2013, CertiNergy Ltd works with a network of highly qualified installers to provide access to a range of government backed incentives, such as the Energy Companies Obligation (ECO) and the Green Deal. These programmes are designed to increase energy performance in homes by decreasing the cost of insulation, boilers and other energy efficiency measures.
John Fawcitt, Managing Director of CertiNergy said: “The energy efficiency market is highly competitive; since establishing in Birmingham in 2013 we have secured a strong share of the UK market and now employ 13 people. We have plans to diversify our business utilising knowledge and capabilities from across the Group which currently works in France, Italy, Poland and the UK.
“Longbridge Technology Park provides the perfect base for us to steadily grow the business in a superbly connected location – as and when we need to upgrade to larger premises, we can do that here without needing to change location again. We know many companies here who have already done just that.”
Two Devon Way offers high quality serviced office suites from 926 sq ft to 14,936 sq ft on a conventional or managed basis, with bespoke packages available to suit occupier requirements. It enables close working relationships to be established amongst a range of organisations, supporting growth and job creation. Longbridge Technology Park offers excellent transport links into Birmingham City Centre and to other parts of the country, via the nearby M5 and M42.
