Innes England has further expanded its team in Leicester with the appointment of a new graduate professional surveyor.
Laura Hibbs is the latest in a string of new recruits for the firm, which has recently appointed a number of new staff across its Nottingham, Derby and Leicester offices.
Laura will take up a role in the professional services team and will join the firm’s RICS accredited training programme to work towards becoming a chartered surveyor. This follows a year spent recently on placement as an estates surveyor at Boots.
Peter Doleman, director at Innes England in Leicester, said: “We’re really pleased to welcome Laura to the team here amid what is a period of growth across the whole business.
“Enthusiastic, high-calibre young surveyors like Laura are essential to us and the work we deliver for our clients and it is very important for us to be able to invest in them by providing excellent opportunities for training and development.
“Growing our own talent is something we take very seriously here and we are committed to taking on graduates and placement students to help further expand across the region.
“We are extremely proud of our APC programme as it gives our trainees the support they need throughout the learning process to become fully qualified chartered surveyors.
“We give them the training and experiences to enable their confidence to grow as well as building strong relationships in the team here and with our clients.”
The Innes England APC programme has been running for more than a decade and supports both its own internal candidates in addition to those working for its clients throughout their studies focusing on a variety of topics such as valuation, property management and professional standards.
As part of its plans for expansion across the East Midlands, the firm is currently searching for a graduate surveyor to work in the professional services team in Nottingham.
