Trebor Developments LLP, West Midlands Commercial Developer of the Year, have teamed up with Rockspring’s Hanover Property Unit Trust to speculatively develop a new, high quality industrial/logistics unit of 113,500 sq ft at Plots 4 and 6 Redhill Business Park, Staffordshire. The Park, which offers excellent access onto the A34 and M6 Junction 14, has recently been brought to the market by Staffordshire County Council, as part of its forward thinking, proactive strategy to facilitate business growth in the county.
Work is anticipated to start on site in 2015, with the unit ready for occupation in Summer 2016.
Bob Tattrie, Managing Partner for Trebor, commented: “The market for new quality industrial premises is very active and Redhill Business Park is ideally located to meet the needs of occupiers, given the quick deliverability and infrastructure connections – enquiries are already being received for the accommodation. We look forward to working with our experienced funding partners, Rockspring, and the local authority to quickly deliver this high quality development”.
Mark Winnington, Economy Leader on behalf of Staffordshire County Council, commented: “It’s great news that Trebor and Rockspring will be submitting an application for two plots at Redhill. As the site’s occupation increases it ultimately means more jobs for people in Staffordshire and a thriving business park. This development will complement Alstom’s on site and we look forward to seeing it begin as soon as possible.”
