Five units at a Cardiff Industrial estate have been let to local occupiers. The lettings mean the estate is now fully let.
Fairwater Industrial Estate is being marketed by the Cardiff office of DTZ.
The new tenants are: First Stop Car Sales which has taken a 1,600 sq ft unit; Cardiff Windows Direct which has taken 4,200 sq ft; Label Needs Ltd which is moving into a 4,400 sq ft unit and Cardiff Martial Arts Academy which is expanding into units 6 and 7, which provides the academy with a further 5,550 sq ft.
Located in the Fairwater area of Cardiff three miles outside the city centre, the estate is located on Norbury Road and comprises a detached former factory which has been subdivided to provide ten industrial units and a first floor office suite.
Rob Ladd, Director in DTZ’s Industrial agency team in Cardiff, commented: “Our clients saw the opportunity to acquire an underperforming investment in an area of Cardiff that benefits from strong demand and excellent transport links to the City and to the M4.
“The estate was nearly 50% vacant when our clients acquired it nine months ago so it is particularly satisfying that DTZ has helped a local investor secure five tenants since the start of the year.”
