Acting on behalf of Orchard (Developments) Holdings Plc, Goadsby have successfully let Suite C, York House in Chandlers Ford to Bridle Insurance on a 6 year FRI lease. The quoting rent was £12psf. The suite offered over 6,300 sq ft of refurbished open plan, air conditioned office space within a detached modern building.
Bridle Insurance has forty years experience as specialist brokers to the Civil Engineering, Plant and Construction industries, developing valuable and long term relationships with most major UK Insurers operating in these sectors. The company has grown steadily and is now a multi-million pound business serving customers from all corners of the British Isles.
They join existing occupiers PIPPS Technology and Fresenius Medical Care within the building.
Bridles Chief Operations Officer Neil Fox commented, “We had simply outgrown our previous offices way ahead of schedule and this move was a very welcome necessity. The move enables us to further establish ourselves within the Hampshire community and allows us to continue to develop and expand our high net worth and non standard/niche personal lines motor division, where we have a very attractive offering and where we are seeing a lot of success and this is in addition to our successful commercial insurances operation where growth continues to be exciting.”
Andrew Hodgkinson, head of agency in Goadsby’s Southampton office was pleased to be able to broker the deal saying, “Bridle’s office requirement in terms of quality, size and location and what was on offer at York House were a superb fit and we were delighted to be able to facilitate this deal. The building is now fully let.
This followed the recent office letting by Goadsby of 6,854 sq ft at Bampton House also in Chandlers Ford on behalf of a private Irish investor to a division of Centrica and the letting of nearly 5,000 sq ft at Black Horse House in Eastleigh to Technodyne.
Goadsby is unique in having commercial offices in both Southampton and Winchester and we are able to source enquiries from both the north and south of the Eastleigh / Chandlers Ford area.
