Two companies that were helped to set up in the county by Locate in Kent have celebrated success at the 2015 Kent Excellence in Business Awards (KEiBAs).
Dovetail Games, which moved to the Observatory in Chatham last year, was named Technology Business of the Year at the awards ceremony on Thursday evening (June 25). The company was also a finalist in the Employer of the Year category.
Another Locate in Kent success, Thanet Earth, received the Land-based Business of the Year award.
Elsewhere, Joe Kent of Locate in Kent partner Absols was named Apprentice of the Year, while RIFT Group of Ashford, also a partner of the organisation, was celebrating after receiving the award for Customer Service and Commitment.
Pat Gallagher, Chairman of Gallagher Group, a member of Kent Developers Group, was rewarded for his outstanding contribution to business in Kent, having built the business over 40 years and supported many local community projects.
