Primmer Olds, acting for a Guernsey based property company, has sold the freehold of a multi-let office building extending to circa 13,110 sq ft in an off-market transaction.
The building on the corner of Bernard Street and Queensway, Southampton, was part occupied and provided scope for refurbishment or alternative use/conversion to residential via permitted development rights.
Duane Walker commented “This is one of the many buildings we have sold in the last year of a similar nature. If converted it will further add to the loss of floor space within the city centre going to residential use, which is likely to have a positive impact on rental growth of the remaining stock in the town.”
