International accountancy firm Mazars, which has offices in Birmingham, Nottingham, Leicester and Milton Keynes, has appointed Michelle Perry as a senior manager specialising in employment taxes.
She will cover the whole region but will be based in Birmingham.
Tax partner Phil Waller said the move was aimed at developing the international accountancy firm’s Central Region Tax Investigations and Employee Solutions (TIES) offer, in particular providing a regional platform for the national TIES team lead by Jon Claypole.
“We are looking to build this aspect of our regional business and grow revenues,” said Mr Waller.
“Michelle will be a regional team player but also a fully integrated member of the national TIES team.”
Her areas of expertise include HMRC enquiries, employment status, PAYE & NIC risk reviews, complex payroll, efficient reward to aid recruitment and retention, termination arrangements and construction industry scheme.
She said: “I am very much looking forward to this new challenge.
