Nixon, advised by retail property agent Harper Dennis Hobbs (HDH), has agreed a deal to take its second UK store.
It has signed a 10-year lease on a 929 sq ft store at 31 Neal Street in London’s Covent Garden. The deal follows on from the successful launch of the Californian watch company’s first shop in Newburgh Street, near Carnaby Street, which opened last Autumn.
The Neal Street will feature a workshop inspired customisation bar where you can create a one-of-a-kind timepiece. The store will trade on two levels and will also include a more extensive apparel offer. It is expected to open towards the end of this year. This will be Nixon’s third store in Europe as the company also has a store in Paris.
Will Mabbett of HDH said: “Nixon’s first UK store was a huge success and the brand is seeking to expand into other young, fashionable and cool locations. Nixon’s surfer, skateboarder and snowboarder image means Neal Street was a perfect choice for the brand.”
Shackleton acted for the landlord Shaftesbury Estates.
