Knight Frank’s Cardiff office is celebrating a double success in recent days.
First, Knight Frank was comfortably top of a league table for Cardiff office transactions which has been published by EGi, the website of highly-respected national commercial property trade magazine Estates Gazette.
The firm disposed of 188,628 sq ft of Cardiff office space in the 12 months to February 2015. Knight Frank’s top deals by size included a 28,000 sq ft letting on the 8th and 9th floors of Brunel House and a 22,000 sq ft letting at Number 1, Capital Quarter.
And in the Wales Insider annual property awards, Knight Frank in Cardiff won the Agency Team of the Year, and was involved in the Deal of the Year for Admiral House, Newport, and Development of the Year where the winner was Capital Quarter by JR Smart, who are represented by Knight Frank.
Commenting on the success, Matt Phillips, managing partner of the Knight Frank Cardiff office, said: “It has been a great year for the excellent team we have built here in Cardiff.
“It’s also pleasing to see new office developments coming to the fore in Cardiff, and with relatively low rental levels in Cardiff we believe there is still lots of room for future growth. The key to reaching the next level will be the city’s ability to attract and secure more national organisations and it is important that the public and private sectors work together to help achieve this.”
