A music company is hitting the right notes with new workshop at a leafy Hampshire business centre in converted historic buildings.
Internationally-known Romsey OrganWorks, the UK Hauptwerk specialist, has taken space at Home Farm Business Centre at Lockerley, near Romsey.
Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has successfully negotiated the lease of a prominent unit at the centre for a rent of £3,750 per annum.
Myddelton & Major partner Dean Speer said: “The arrival of Romsey OrganWorks – a company with an international reputation – is a real coup for Home Farm Business Centre.
“It shows the confidence businesses have in this growing centre in an attractive rural environment which is ideally situated for Romsey, Salisbury and Southampton.
“We have other units under offer and some still to let, but demand remains high and I would suggest anyone interested should not delay in contacting us.”
Romsey OrganWorks supplies and builds organ consoles specifically for use with Hauptwerk, the world’s leading virtual pipe organ software manufacturer.
The company also offers Virtual Pipe Organs for rental for a special occasion or a concert.
Myddelton & Major has also successfully let another business unit at the centre.
New tenants took an office in the ground floor of unit eight on a one-year lease for use as a personal studio and workshop.
The office – measuring 825 sq ft (77 sq m) – was let on an asking rent of £4,950 per annum.
Lockerley is a charming village 15 miles east of Salisbury, six miles north west of Romsey and 16 miles south of Andover. The M27 and Southampton are within easy reach.
Home Farm Business Centre comprises converted historic buildings suitable for a range of business uses, with a variety of unit sizes and ample on-site car parking.
Office units are fully fitted with carpeting, heating and lighting.
