Dominvs Group, the real estate investment, development and asset Management Company, has let Unit 5, Walker Park in Blackburn, Lancashire to Vision Support Services (VSS) Group Ltd.
The 61,387 sq ft (5,703 sq m) warehouse unit has been taken on a new 10-year lease.
John Keeling, Operations Director VSS Group Ltd, says: “As we already have our head office located at Walker Park, we are delighted to have been successful in acquiring the lease on Unit 5. This allows us to bring our warehouse operations to the location where we have enjoyed the security and other benefits of this well maintained site for the last six years.”
Ian Mudge, commercial property director at Dominvs Group, comments: “Walker Park continues to attract significant interest from occupiers looking to benefit from the excellent location and quality of accommodation. This has again been demonstrated by the deal to Vision Support Services.
“There is very limited stock for units of around 50,000 sq ft along the M65 and when these do become available they attract strong interest, as has been shown here. We have just one remaining unit available of approx. 48,000 sq ft which is now under offer.”
Walker Park is a modern, High Quality production and distribution facility, totalling 492,052 sq ft (45,711 sq m) situated in Blackburn’s premier manufacturing and logistics location, with immediate access to the national and regional motorway network at Junction 5 of the M65.
The park was acquired by Dominvs Group in November 2013.
