Leading retail IT solutions company Retail Assist, which has its head office in Nottingham, has appointed the East Midlands office of business and financial advisers Grant Thornton as its business adviser.
Retail Assist provides specialist IT support to leading retailers and hospitality operators in the UK and internationally, with their award-winning retail IT solutions and managed services.
The business, which also has offices in London, Northampton and Oxfordshire, employs over 200 staff, 91 based in Nottingham, and works with many well-known brands, including Harvey Nichols, Cath Kidston, Oasis, ASOS and Paperchase.
Retail Assist has appointed Grant Thornton to provide a comprehensive business and financial support service spanning audit, tax, business and financial advice.
The firm’s East Midlands’ team working with Retail Assist comprises of Tom Copson, Associate Director leading the Audit team, Kari Mellon, Senior Manager leading the Private Client services, Mike Burt who will head Retail Assist’s dedicated Corporate Tax team, and Andy Morgan, a specialist in Technology, Media and Telecommunications and Advisory Partner at Grant Thornton.

Grant Thornton’s East Midlands office is in Leicester and has approximately 130 staff providing business and financial advice across Corporate and Personal Tax, audit and assurance, employer solutions, corporate finance, and sustainability, to organisations across the East Midlands.
