Following an exciting start to the year, in which UBCUK officially launched a new flexible workspace centre in Birchwood (Warrington) and doubled its serviced office capacity in Fleet (Hampshire), the company is delighted to announce plans to launch a new business centre on Birmingham Business Park, West Midlands.
UBC has signed a 15-year lease with Aequus Land, who are currently undertaking a full refurbishment of the property.
Upon completion, UBC will begin refitting the interior space with new office and meeting furniture, reception amenities, lounge and kitchen areas, IT and telecoms connections including CAT B cabling, and fresh decor.
15,902 sq ft of newly refurbished workspace will be provided over two floors, with 214 workstations available to rent on flexible terms.
The new business centre is expected to open for business in August 2015 with the introduction of serviced and managed offices, meeting rooms and on-site reception services. The facility will provide a professional yet flexible environment for startups, SMEs or larger corporations keen to create a presence within a highly accessible and business orientated area of Birmingham.
Birmingham Business Park is located just 3 miles from Birmingham International Airport, close to Junction 6 of the M42 and a few minutes of the M42/M6 interchange.
In addition to its excellent location, the Business Park is extremely well maintained with a professional outlook and smart, well-presented buildings set within 148 acres of mature parkland.
Richard Johnson, Property and Acquisitions Director at UBCUK, commented:
“We are delighted to continue what is proving to be a fantastic year for UBCUK with the acquisition of a new property on Birmingham Business Park.”
“This latest addition to UBC’s growing portfolio will provide SMEs and larger firms with a flexible workspace environment in a fantastic location close to Birmingham International Airport. We are currently undertaking a full refurbishment of the interior space with a view to opening in August 2015.”
