Cardiff University has leased a further three floors of the Eastgate House office building in Newport Road, Cardiff.
The University, which already occupies floors 4 to 7 of the 13-storey multi-let building, has taken 16,000 sq ft of additional offices on floors 11, 12 and 13 under a new lease which will run for the next five years.
Landlords Froststar Ltd and Heatgold Ltd were advised in the transaction by CCM Associates, Knight Frank and JLL.
Malcolm Evans of CCM said: “Cardiff University plan to use the additional floor space for office, administrative and teaching purposes. Cardiff University are currently finalising a comprehensive fit out on all of the new three floors with full staff occupation due imminently.”

Rhydian Morris of JLL said; “This significant transaction means there is space available for new occupiers on just three of the remaining floors.”
