Two surveyors in the Midlands offices of national commercial property firm Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) are celebrating after passing the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Assessment of Professional Competence.
The highly-prized qualification enables them to become full members of the RICS. Membership is recognised as one of the world’s leading professional qualifications for those working in property and construction. The RICS received its royal charter from Queen Victoria in 1881.
Jo Beaumont, aged 30, joined LSH in 2009. She has an MA in Property Investment and Management fro Nottingham Trent University and now works in the valuation team at the firm’s Birmingham office. She is involved in a variety of valuation work, including loan security, acquisitions and compulsory purchase.
Jenny Clarke, 26, began with LSH in 2008 after gaining a degree in property development from Sheffield Hallam University. She now works in LSH’s Office Agency department in the firm’s Nottingham and Leicester offices.
