Cardiff- based, chartered construction surveying firm, TC Consult has launched its Regeneration service with the key appointment of Hamish Munro.
Hamish will manage the launch of the Regeneration service. Key objectives will include facilitating closer working relationships between the public and private sectors in order to create innovative development solutions and stimulate further investment opportunities for TC Consult clients.
A regeneration specialist, Hamish will bring with him a wealth of experience having worked at senior level for Welsh Government, Newport Unlimited and WDA for over 25 years. In his previous role Hamish led several major regeneration projects, including the acquisition and delivery of the Ebbw Vale Steelworks masterplan. Hamish was also instrumental in the creation and implementation of multi-million pound regeneration strategies throughout Wales; most recently, in the City of Newport where confidence, new development activity and investment opportunities have increased considerably as a result.
Co-founder and director of TC Consult, David Champs said: “We identified the growing opportunity to complement our existing services by offering clients support with the preparation, review and appraisal of regeneration and development strategies. We’re thrilled to bring someone of Hamish’s calibre into the business as we’re confident he will steer this new service to success.
New director of regeneration, Hamish Munro said: “I am really excited to join this dynamic company. The aim of the new service will be to identify creative solutions that deliver consensus, rather than compromise. I am passionate about regeneration and will lead my team to understand the needs of local communities, individuals and organisations in order to deliver success for our clients.”
The innovative Regeneration service offered by TC Consult will provide bespoke consultancy for public, private and third sector clients and has been introduced to enhance the project management and cost consultancy services currently offered by the company.
